Farmers’ Market Fresh

A joint program of the University of Tennessee (UT) Extension and Tennessee State University (TSU) Extension. Extension agents set up farmers’ markets across the state offering food demonstrations, as well as selection and storage suggestions for the flavorful fruit and vegetables available at the markets. This program is interested in helping limited-resource families, especially those receiving SNAP/ EBT Benefits, access fresh fruits and vegetables at the farmers’ market.
